My personal goals: Respect & Basketball
Respect
My goal around respect is about looking, listening and understanding what a teacher or visitor is telling me or the whole class. I want to work on this because I feel like I'm being a bit slack for not doing these during class. I'm determined to stay focused during class now and being aware of what they are saying.
Basketball
My goal about my basketball is mainly about getting past my opponent, defence, winning games and getting better at my shooting. I'm having a bit of trouble getting past my opponent because I'm too easy to read. They always get the ball in the end and it bugs me a bit. Then when they come up to me they always get past because of my slack defence.
I have my first basketball game in a week and I can't wait to play my first game for O.C. I'm also quite nervous because I'm not sure how good the opposition is. They might be worse than me or they could be so much greater. That is why I want to work on my shooting. It might give my team a better chance of winning the game.
