Labour weekend

For my labour weekend, I spent it with my dad at my cousins down in Porirua. The first day we didn't do much day other than play on the ps4. The second day me and my dad got up early to play down at the courts. He helped me practice my basketball. Later that day I had basketball training down in Otaki. After training we went down to foxton to get some tools to fix the fence in Porirua. The last day we fixed the fence and then went back home to mum.

Lion Dance

On wednesday, the year 7&8 cendicate all had turns going to the hall and learning the lion dance. I had bandquest on so I came after my class had went. Whaea Destine sent me and Tumoana to the next class so we could have a turn. It was funny because my sister was in that class. The man welcomed us in and showed us what to do. When it was me and Tumoana's turn, it was really confusing because I couldn't see anything. There was a lot of funny moments when we were watching everyone else!

Probability

This term we have been learning about probability and how it works. We've all had tasks to do and I'm going to share the ones I've completed with you.

This task had us give examples for different probabilities

I answered very high in percentage
I filled out what I knew and thought about Probability
I had to think really hard about this one.

Mandotory Vaccinations Announced

All school staff and also home educators must be vaccinated by 1 January 2022. This is a smart move by the goverment and I strongly agree with it. By vaccinating all school staff, we are protecting our tamariki so they can have a future without too much trouble with covid-19. We could also get the boost we need in vaccinations to reach 90%. Our country might not need lockdowns any more because of this rule and I'm grateful for it. Why should we have to make sacrifises because people won't get vaccinated. I think the goverment made the right call for everyone in this country. 11102021 PHOTO: ROBERT KITCHIN/STUFF
